Sierksdorf Dog Beach

On the Bay of Lübeck lies the former fishing village of Sierksdorf, which has developed into a popular seaside resort since the 1970s. Sierksdorf is especially well known for its amusement park, Hansa-Park. The Sierksdorf dog beach is located near Hansa Park in the northern part of Sierksdorf (about 1.5 kilometers from the main beach). The dog beach, made of fine Baltic Sea sand, stretches over a length of about 200 meters. At the start of the dog beach there is an option to rent beach chairs. A parking lot is about 300 meters away. A shower and sanitary facilities are available near the dog beach. But you can also walk farther north with your dog. Along the steep coast toward the north to Neustadt in Holstein is about 2.5 kilometers. Here you will repeatedly find smaller swimming coves for quiet and relaxed swimming with your dog. So a little insider tip for everyone who likes it a bit quieter. The nearest beaches are the Neustadt in Holstein dog beach and, to the south, the Haffkrug dog beach. | Parking: approx. 300 meters | Beach fee person/dog: Yes/No | Beach/water type: fine sandy beach/shallow water | Restrooms available: Yes | Food and drink: Yes | Leash required on beach: No
