Scharbeutz Dog Beach

Another beautiful dog beach on the Bay of Lübeck. This dog beach, too, offers you fine Baltic Sea sand and plenty of room to romp around. At this beach, the water along the coast is not too deep. You will find this dog beach near the Ostsee-Therme at beach access number 4. Near the Scharbeutz dog beach you will find various food and drink options as well as public sanitary facilities. In season, you can rent beach chairs at the dog beach. Overall, this dog beach has not quite as much tourist infrastructure (e.g., shops) as the other dog beaches on the Bay of Lübeck. For parking, you use one of the parking lots near the Ostsee Therme. Depending on the parking lot, it is then another 300-400 meters to the dog beach. In Scharbeutz, from October 1 to March 31, you may also go to the other beaches of the municipality with your dog. Visitors to this dog beach describe it as clean and, for a dog beach, quite large. The shallow water is also rated especially positively. There are more dog beaches nearby. To the north you will find the Haffkrug dog beach, and to the south is the Timmerndorfer Strand dog beach. | Parking: approx. 300 meters | Beach fee person/dog: Yes/No | Beach/water type: fine sandy beach/shallow water | Restrooms available: Yes | Food and drink: Yes | Leash required on beach: No
