Nordstrand · Schleswig-Holstein, Germany
The dog park on Drosselweg in Nordstrand is a fenced-in area that offers dogs plenty of space to play. There is a covered shelter for protection from the rain, and poop bags are provided. Parking is available. The field is described as well-maintained, but it lacks features such as trees or water. Access is easy, but there is no gate at the entrance.
In busy areas of Schleswig-Holstein, dogs must be leashed. In forests, dogs may only be taken along on a leash and on forest paths, year-round. On beaches with lots of bathers, dogs are banned from 1 April to 31 October except on designated dog beaches; municipalities may set different rules. Violations can be fined.
This is a simplified overview, not legal advice. For binding rules in 2026 where you live and walk your dog, contact your local authority (e.g. municipal public order office).
