The Hundestrand Bockholmwik is located on the Flensburg Fjord in the municipality of Munkbrarup, just past the marina. The designated dog beach is approx. 200 meters long. The Hundestrand Bockholmwik is a natural beach without much tourist infrastructure. Just right for nature lovers and less crowded than the big "hotspots" on the Baltic coast. At this dog beach, your dogs can romp around as they please and go swimming in the water of the North Sea. For everyone arriving by car, there is a parking lot nearby. No further tourist infrastructure can be found in the immediate vicinity. Breeding & nesting season (orientation)
In busy areas of Schleswig-Holstein, dogs must be leashed. In forests, dogs may only be taken along on a leash and on forest paths, year-round. On beaches with lots of bathers, dogs are banned from 1 April to 31 October except on designated dog beaches; municipalities may set different rules. Violations can be fined.
