Ostseebad Boltenhagen · Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Germany
This dog beach is located on Mecklenburg Bay, about 20 kilometers west of the city of Wismar. Redewisch is a small district of the municipality of Boltenhagen. It is a natural beach at the start of the steep coast. The beach is not specially cleaned and naturally has many stones. A hike from here along the steep coast with your dog is recommended. A restroom and a snack bar are available near the dog beach. Parking is available at a paid parking lot near the dog beach. If you ever forget your dog waste bags, there are dog waste bag dispensers at various places in town and on the promenade. Unfortunately, you cannot rent beach chairs at this dog beach. A beach with beach chairs is the beach in Tarnewitz. From May 15 to September 15, you may only take your dogs to the designated dog beaches in Boltenhagen. The rest of the time, all beaches are open to dogs. More dog beaches can be found at the main beach of the Baltic seaside resort of Boltenhagen. There you will find the Tarnewitz dog beach and the dog beach at Klützer Bachlauf. | Parking: approx. 300 meters | Beach fee person/dog: No/No | Beach/water condition: stony sand/stony water | Restrooms available: Yes | Food and drink: No | Leash required on the beach: No

This is a simplified overview, not legal advice. For binding rules in 2026 where you live and walk your dog, contact your local authority (e.g. municipal public order office).
