Description
The Am Glacis dog park in Magdeburg, located at Maybachstraße 1, is open 24 hours a day and offers a shaded setting. It is not fenced in and has no parking. The field is surrounded by walking paths and features numerous early-blooming flowers in the spring as well as shade from trees in the summer. In the fall, the changing colors of the leaves are a delight. However, there are deep holes that can be dangerous when dogs are playing. Dog owners should be sure to clean up after their pets.
Breeding & nesting season (orientation)
From 1 March to 15 July, dogs must be leashed in open countryside, including on adjoining public roads. Violations are administrative offences and can be fined. Individual municipalities may allow exceptions.
