Description
The Am Fuchsberg dog park in Magdeburg’s Leipziger Straße neighborhood is open 24 hours a day. It is partially fenced in, which can be problematic for untrained dogs. There are no poop bags or parking spaces, and there is no shade. The park is used by many dog owners, but there have been complaints about cleanliness, as some owners do not clean up after their dogs. Its proximity to the highway results in background noise.
Breeding & nesting season (orientation)
From 1 March to 15 July, dogs must be leashed in open countryside, including on adjoining public roads. Violations are administrative offences and can be fined. Individual municipalities may allow exceptions.
