High temperatures often have a greater impact on daily life than one might initially think. It becomes harder to exercise, dogs tire more quickly, and yet the need for activity remains. Many people find themselves torn between “I want my dog to get enough exercise” and “I don’t want to overexert him.”
This workshop is all about successfully navigating this balancing act. We’ll discuss how heat affects dogs physically and mentally, which training methods are suitable right now, and where less is actually more. You’ll get ideas on how to adapt your training without giving it up entirely, and how to keep your dog engaged in a meaningful way without putting unnecessary strain on him.
The goal is a more relaxed summer routine where you feel confident, make good decisions, and your dog stays calm despite the heat.
