Oldenburg · Niedersachsen, Germany
The dog park at the Weser-Ems Hallen in Oldenburg offers a large area for dogs, but it is not fenced in. The surrounding area consists of gravel and sand paths as well as a small grassy area. There are only a few trash cans, which leads to a buildup of dog waste. The area is described as poorly maintained, and amenities such as poop bag dispensers are lacking. Despite these shortcomings, the area serves as an important destination for dog owners in the city to let their dogs run free.
From 1 April to 15 July, dogs must be leashed in open countryside, including when swimming.
