Sandstedt is located on the Lower Weser, north of Bremen and south of Bremerhaven. Particularly well known is the annual harbor festival, which always takes place on Ascension Day. The Sandstedt dog beach is located on the Weser. In summer, food stands are set up. The parking lot is free. According to user reports, a leash is required on the beach in some places.
