Description
Babelsberg Park in Potsdam features a large, fenced-in dog park that is open 24 hours a day and has shaded areas. There are two large areas, one of which includes agility obstacles. Please bring your own water; bowls are provided. Cleaning up after your dog is mandatory. The field is maintained by an active community and offers seating for dog owners. Its location next to Babelsberg Park is convenient, though the ground can get muddy.
Breeding & nesting season (orientation)
In Brandenburg, dogs must be leashed in forests year-round (Section 15 of the state forest act); hunting dogs on a hunt are exempt. Violations can be fined. Outside forests, leash rules mainly apply in busy places such as events, pedestrian zones, fenced parks and public transport, plus local rules. Follow the signs.
