Berlin · Berlin, Germany
The dog park on Tegeler Weg is a small, open green space along the Schleusenkanal in Charlottenburg, ideal for dogs to run and play freely. However, the area is small and located next to a busy road, so it’s less suitable for long walks. There is no fence, so your dog should be well-trained to obey commands. Benches and trash cans are available.
In Berlin, a leash is generally required across the whole city, including forests. Exceptions are designated dog exercise areas and off-leash zones. Follow the signs on site.
This is a simplified overview, not legal advice. For binding rules in 2026 where you live and walk your dog, contact your local authority (e.g. municipal public order office).
