Description
The dog park in Leimen, in the Sankt Ilgen neighborhood, is open Monday through Sunday from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. It is fenced in and offers shade from a large tree. Poop bags are available, but there is no parking nearby. The field measures 40 by 20 meters. There has been positive feedback regarding the maintenance of the field, but the fence has been criticized for not being very sturdy. Users would like to see a water station for dogs.
Breeding & nesting season (orientation)
Baden-Württemberg has no statewide leash rule for the breeding season and no general leash requirement in forests. Your dog may only run free if you have it safely under control and can recall it at any time. In forests it must not run free near playgrounds, play and sunbathing lawns or water-treading facilities (administrative offence).
