The Hundestrand Krautsand is located in the municipality of Drochtersen near Stade, directly on the Elbe. The great Elbe river gives the area a maritime flair and offers extensive sandy beaches. Unfortunately, we have not yet visited this dog beach. A leash may be required from April 1 to July 15, because this is the breeding and birthing season in Lower Saxony.
