München · Bayern, Germany
The dog park at Lußsee in Munich, in the Aubing-Lochhausen-Langwied district, is open 24 hours a day. It offers a small, unkempt meadow for dog owners. There is no fence, no poop bags, and no parking. There is also no shade. The reviews are mostly negative, as the field is considered too small and not ideal for dogs. Additionally, dogs are not allowed in the water.
Bavaria has no statewide leash rule that applies only during breeding season. Cities and municipalities often set their own bylaws—check local rules.
This is a simplified overview, not legal advice. For binding rules in 2026 where you live and walk your dog, contact your local authority (e.g. municipal public order office).
