Description
The small town of Dangast is located in the district of Friesland and is part of the city of Varel. Situated on the Jadebusen, Dangast is the southernmost North Sea resort. The city of Wilhelmshaven is nearby. The town has a sandy beach approximately 2 kilometers long where visitors can swim during high tide. In addition to vacation homes and apartments, there are several large campgrounds to choose from as vacation accommodations. Near the beach, there are a number of dining options.

From 1 April to 15 July, dogs must be leashed in open countryside, including when swimming.
