The dog club offers a large, fenced-in area for dogs, ideal for letting them run around. According to Google reviews, however, the area is often muddy, so rubber boots are recommended. There are a few places for owners to sit, but the lack of shaded areas is frequently mentioned. Some users suggest providing more shade and water stations for the dogs. Despite these areas for improvement, many appreciate the social interaction and the opportunity to connect with other dog owners.
From 1 March to 30 June (breeding, birthing and rearing season), a leash is required in hunting districts, i.e. in forests and open countryside, unless your dog reliably stays on the path and you have it safely under control. Violations can be fined. Municipalities may have their own rules.
This is a simplified overview, not legal advice. For binding rules in 2026 where you live and walk your dog, contact your local authority (e.g. municipal public order office).
